We Use Minimal Cookies
VisaPicPro uses essential local storage to save your preferences (like dark mode) and session data. We also use Google Analytics to understand site usage and may display ads via Google AdSense.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit websites. They help websites remember your preferences and improve your experience. We primarily use localStorage, a similar technology that stores data only in your browser.
2. How We Use Local Storage
We use browser localStorage for the following purposes:
| Purpose | Data Stored | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Dark Mode Preference | Theme setting (light/dark) | Until cleared |
| Session Recovery | Work-in-progress photo data | 24 hours |
| Last Used Size | Document size preference | Until cleared |
| Quality Settings | Image quality preference | Until cleared |
3. What We Don't Store
- Your photos: Images are processed in memory and never saved to storage
- Personal information: No names, emails, or identifiable data
- Tracking data: We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. This may set cookies for analytics purposes.
- Advertising cookies: We may display ads through Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve relevant advertisements.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following external services that may have their own cookie policies:
- Google Analytics 4: For understanding site usage and improving our services (Google Privacy Policy)
- Google AdSense: For displaying relevant advertisements (Google Ads Policy)
- Tailwind CSS CDN: For styling (no cookies)
- Google Fonts: For typography (may set cookies)
5. Managing Your Data
You can clear all stored data at any time:
How to Clear Local Storage:
- Open your browser's Developer Tools (F12 or right-click Inspect)
- Go to the "Application" or "Storage" tab
- Find "Local Storage" in the sidebar
- Right-click our domain and select "Clear"
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

8. Access and Quota Storage
Some browser storage is used to remember editor state, anonymous device identity, download quota status, and verified access tokens. This helps prevent normal browser-storage tricks from bypassing limits and helps the editor remember valid access after a page reload. Clearing browser storage may remove local preferences or access state from that browser.
9. Why Storage Matters for This Tool
Passport photo editing often happens across several steps: upload, crop, background adjustment, preview, download, and print layout. Browser storage helps keep those steps stable if the page refreshes or the user switches between views. It also helps us apply daily limits fairly without asking every visitor to create an account.
We try to keep stored data limited to what is needed for functionality, security, analytics, and support. Users can clear this data in their browser at any time, but doing so may reset preferences, remove local editor state, or require support help for verified access recovery.
If you use private browsing, strict tracking protection, or browser extensions that block storage, some features may behave like a new session each time. This can affect saved settings, quota checks, and restore status, so we recommend using a normal browser session when preparing an important document photo.
This policy is written to make those tradeoffs clear before you use the editor.
